ABOUT US
Fort McMurray Search and Rescue is a volunteer-based emergency response organization dedicated to assisting those who are lost, injured, or in distress within the Fort McMurray region and surrounding areas. We work in support of local authorities and emergency services to provide professional ground search and rescue capabilities when they are needed most.
Our members are highly trained volunteers who operate in challenging environments and unpredictable conditions. Through ongoing training, teamwork, and preparedness, we respond to search operations, evidence searches, disaster response, and community safety initiatives with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and compassion.
